FINANCIAL IMPACT SUPPORT
COVID19 has had a major financial impact on many residents across the town and everyone is welcome to access our aid and support no matter their previous circumstances. We understand money and finances can be a difficult subject but we are able to confidentially and practically support all those in Clevedon in need.
EXTRA FOODBANK OPENING
Currently paused due to low need. We are ready restart if needed.
Clevedon Aid are supporting Clevedon District Foodbank (Trussell Trust) and are operating an additional foodbank drop off. This is Wednesdays 9.30-11.30am at 2nd Clevedon Scout Hut (behind the Christadelphian Church, Coleridge Vale Rd N, BS21 6NL).
Clevedon Aid date, sort and quarantine the donations. We are also able to collect items from DWP foodboxes that may not be wanted, please get in touch.
CASH / PENSION ACCESS ISSUES
We know that internet banking is not available to all and access to cash and pension at this time is therefore limited. We are able to support those in difficulties to make sure no-one is left without.
LOSS OF INCOME AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP
Clevedon Aid can provide extra assistance to residents who are really struggling financially and feel that they need additional help. We can provide help in accessing services and support to help you navigate this difficult time.
We also can provide emergency aid while we help you access these arrangements such as: issuing foodbank vouchers (if relevant), a Clevedon Aid food parcel, Clevedon Aid hot meals, a North Somerset Emergency foodbox, support with energy bills, support with other miscellaneous costs etc.
